So soon it is May! Spring is here again, what a time to redefine goals we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year.
The year is a quarter through and a time for reflection on how far we have gone in achieving our God designed destiny.
Take stock in order to see how close we are to achieving these goals. Every one of us has a designed destiny. The difficulty is in knowing what this is and seeking direction to this. It is like seeking the GPS –Global Positioning system to our unique destination. Would it not be great to just manoeuvre a car to it’s destination without the effort of using the maps? Hold on we still need to input the destination into the navigating system anyway. You must know at least some information about that destination of yours- street name, area, or even post code. Life is about directional flow and free will choices. Three steps I believe will help us define our designed destiny:
– Create one to one sessions with your God. Be alone with God so that He the designer can provide you with these details. God likes to clarify His plans for your life when there’s nobody else around. Jesus often spent time alone with God.
– In this moment learn all that you can in God’s presence so that you can live a fulfilled and purposeful life.
– Keep your focus and seek directions at every stage of the way.
Remember that design determines destiny; and that ‘Everything got started in Him and finds purpose in Him alone’ Colossians Ch 1v16.
– Depend totally on the great comforter, guide, friend and teacher (the person of the Holy Spirit) for guidance and directional leading. Life is tough and we need the supernatural connection to navigate through life.
